FALLS CHURCH, Va. (WUSA) -- Fairfax County Police have made two arrests in an eyewear thefts case thanks to tips submitted through Crime Solvers. A warrant is out for a third suspect.

Fairfax County detectives charged 52-year-old Arthina Cecilia Leake-Hall of Washington, D.C. and 42-year-old Norlin Keith Washington of Accokeek, Md. in relation to four eyewear thefts in the county which took place in July and November of last year.

Leake-Hall was charged with two counts of grand larceny and two counts of larceny with the intent to sell, say police.

Washington was charged with three counts of grand larceny and three counts of larceny with the intent to sell.

Police are still looking for 53-year-old Robert Wilson. He has two outstanding warrants for grand larceny and two warrants for larceny with the intent to sell. Wilson is described as a black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 130 pounds. He goes by the nicknames of "Link" or "Linky," according to police.

If you know where Wilson is, then please contact Fairfax County Crime Solvers by phone at 1-866-411-TIPS(8477), e-mail at www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org or text "TIP187" and your message to CRIMES(274637). There is a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.

Police say the three suspects stole expensive, framed glasses from vision stores in Fairfax County. Those stores include:

  • Steiner Vision at 6201 Leesburg Pike in the Falls Church area on July 6 -- Six pairs of Gucci eyewear were stolen.
  • True Vision at 6643 Arlington Boulevard in the Falls Church area on July 6 -- One pair of Gucci eyewear was stolen.
  • Great Falls Eye Center at 9909 Georgetown Pike in the Great Falls area on July 11 -- Four pairs of eyewear were stolen.
  • For Eyes at 6242 Little River Turnpike in the Alexandria area on November 10 -- Six pairs of eyewear were stolen.

Police said in each case, at least two suspects entered the store. One suspect distracted the employee while the other suspect concealed the eyewear. According to police, in one case a suspect concealed a pair of expensive glasses and then replaced them with an inexpensive pair.

Originally, detectives believed at least four people were involved in the thefts.
