17-year-old shot in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA9) -- A 17-year-old male suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound Friday in Alexandria, Va., police said.

The shooting occurred in the 1200 block of North Quaker Lane around 9:50 p.m. Police say officers responded to an apartment complex for a report of a shooting.

Once officers arrived, police say they located a 17-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
