FRANCONIA, Va. (WUSA) -- A man accused of child pornography and giving the minors drugs as well, has been arrested and sent back to Virginia to face a judge, police said.
Wesley Thomason, 39, of Fairfax County was arrested for recording sexual acts with minors back in November of 2000.
"On November 21, 2000, Wesley Thomason was arrested for allegedly providing illegal drugs to minors and filming himself engaged in sexual acts with more than one minor. Prior to his appearance in court, Thomason fled Fairfax County. Earlier this year, the United States Marshal Service and the Fairfax County Fugitive Task Force developed leads that Thomason was currently living in Mexico. Mexican authorities located and apprehended Thomason and sent him to the State of California on July 20," police said in a news release.
Thomason is being charged with carnal knowledge, manufacturing sexually explicit material involving a minor, possession of cocaine, and indecent liberties.
"Detectives would like to hear from anyone who has information regarding other potential victims as well as any information on how Thomason eluded capture," police said.
If you can help, call police at 1-866-411-TIPS/8477 or 703-691-2131.
