Police Make Additional Arrest in Recent Burglaries

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA)-- Alexandria Police say an additional suspect has been arrested and charged with one count of receiving stolen property in connection with recent burglaries in Rosemont.

Bitaywork Debebe, 25, was arrested at home located on the 800 block of Pendleton Street in Rosemont around noon on Thursday. Police made the arrest after receiving a search warrant.

A previous arrest was made Monday, when police searched the home of 20-year-old Vincent Evans of Alexandria and found evidence.

Evans was charged for two burglaries. The first burglary occurred in the 300 block of West Masonic View Avenue and the second in the 100 block of East Linden Street.
