I-395 HOV Lanes Closed From DC Line To Springfield Interchange | News

ALEXANDRIA (WUSA) - The Virginia Department of Transportation will close all HOV lanes on I-395 at Exit 10, GW Parkway/Pentagon to the Springfield Interchange each night starting Monday, April 9 through Friday, April 13.

The lane closures will start at 9:30 p.m. Lanes will reopen at 3:30 a.m.

VDOT is closing lanes to install an overhead sign structure and complete bridge painting. 

Drivers should expect delays and add 15-20 minutes onto their trips through the area or consider alternative routes. VDOT says the I-95 HOV lanes will be open from Exit 169, Franconia Road/Old Keene Mill Road (Route 644) to just past Route 234.
