Free Cupcakes All Day at Occasionally Cake | Events

Occasionally Cake of Alexandria, Va. is celebrating their three-year anniversary on Sat., July 21 and handing out one free cupcake per person to all their patrons with no purchase necessary.

They will also donate 25 percent of all their sales that day to the Dunbar Alexandria-Olympic Branch of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, as well as collect donations to be given to the organization. Located at 207 King Street in Old Town Alexandria, Va. and 8859 Richmond Highway in Mount Vernon, Va., Occasionally Cake will be offering free cupcakes from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Call 703-780-CAKE or visit www.occasionallycake.com for more information.

The free cupcakes will be available in six flavors: Red Velvet, Pink Champagne, Fuzzy Navel, Classic Vanilla, Black and White, or Strawberries-n-Cream.

“We hope everyone can join us for some free cupcakes and help us celebrate our three year anniversary,” said Sabrina Campbell, owner of Occasionally Cake of Alexandria, Va. “Kids are some of our most important customers, so we’re thrilled to be able to support the Boys and Girls Club and give back,” said Campbell.

Both Alexandria cake boutiques offer more than 100 cake and gourmet cupcake flavors. Occasionally Cake is also renowned for their cake truffles. Instead of discarding leftover cake, it became the centerpiece of their cake truffles, and then dipped in Belgian chocolate.
