Tiaras, Cupcakes, Champagne & Jewelry
No British weather for this party. The sun shone as more than 40 princesses flocked to the Old Town Alexandria jewelry boutique Mystique last Thursday evening for Mystique's first-ever Princess Party and to toast Will and Kate on the eve of their nuptials. The tiaraed guests sipped champagne and tried on rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings adorned with diamonds, sapphires, and more, all befitting royalty.
Mystique owner Elizabeth Mandros, who is celebrating 20 years in business this year (and her birthday as well), was the belle of the ball. "We had such fun," Elizabeth exclaimed, "It was a perfect night." And her guests agreed. Iris Perry, of Montgomery Village, Maryland, "felt like a princess."
