Loudoun Unveils Economic Development Marketing Video Series

On Thursday, May 26, the Loudoun County Department of Economic Development unveiled its new seven-part, marketing video series at an exclusive viewing event at The George Washington University Virginia Campus. The gathering of Loudoun VIPs was the first to see all seven videos produced by Emmy award winning company Electro-Fish Media, Inc. These videos position Loudoun as an ideal location for business by describing Loudoun’s competitive edge through the voices of nine Loudoun business leaders whose companies chose to locate in Loudoun County Virginia for access to it all.

“The Department is committed to increasing the level of awareness of Loudoun County as a great place to locate a business,” said Tom Flynn, Loudoun County Economic Development Director. A first phase in a larger marketing effort, the videos will be featured on the Department’s website and through social media including a high definition YouTube channel. The topics of the seven videos are: Loudoun’s Competitive Edge, An Overview; Access to Technical Talent; Access to Resources; Access to Fiber; Access to Community; Access to Direct Markets; and Access to Technology. Over the next two months, each video will be introduced under joint press releases with the companies of the business leaders that are featured in that video.

The first video available for public viewing is Loudoun’s Competitive Edge, An Overview. This video includes comments from nine business leaders: Michelle Frank of Orbital Sciences, Doug Fabbioli of Fabbioli Cellars, David Carson of Neustar, Peter Weber of Carpathia Hosting, Juan Navarro of NIITEK, Ara Bagdasarian of Omnilert, Mary Ellen Taylor of Endless Summer Harvest, Kevin Grove of Quarter Branch Farm, and Kenneth Schreder of Rockwell Collins. Throughout the two-minute video, these business people describe the great benefits of being located in Loudoun County Virginia, including: Loudoun is always growing, always bringing in new talent; Loudoun is a location where new markets are emerging; Loudoun has a great quality of life that attracts the workforce; and Loudoun has a commitment to small entrepreneurial businesses. “We are pleased to have committed business evangelists in our community who are so willing to participate with us to bring our winning message to the world,” said Dorri Morin, the Department of Economic Development’s Communications Manager.
