The following information was sent to us by Ed Cassidy:

On Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Two-dimensional 16ft x 16ft original artwork placed in the Grand Court of Fair Oaks Mall creates a 3-D illusion that viewers can “stand in” to interact with the artwork for photographs. Visitors on the unveiling event day can also enjoy free face-painting, gift bags for children and win prizes while learning about Cox Communications products and services.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:  Kurt Wenner attended the Rhode Island School of Design and has traveled the globe creating unique and interesting art.  Wenner received the Kennedy Center Medallion in recognition for his outstanding contribution to arts education and participated in the Center’s first ever exhibit of a visual artist. He has lectured at corporate events and conducted seminars and workshops for organizations ranging from the Smithsonian Institution’s National Gallery of Art to Disney Studios, Warner Bros. Studios, Toyota, and General Motors. His work has been displayed in places from Nagasaki, Japan to Mantua, Italy, where Pope John Paul II commissioned Wenner to create an original composition for a 15 ft x 75 ft street painting based on the Last Judgment.
