Greater Springfield Chamber to Co-host Diversity Networking Event

The Greater Springfield Chamber’s Diversity Advisory Council has announced a joint Diversity Networking Mixer with the Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The chambers have come together to co-promote the best features of each and to share the power of numbers with each organizations membership.

“We’re very pleased to join our friends at the Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Chamber for this event,” praised Ariel Goldchain, chair of the Greater Springfield Chamber’s Diversity Advisory Council.  “We established a joint function as one of our goals for 2012 and its happening. I hope lots of members, from both chambers, will attend.”

The open networking event will be held Thursday, October 20 beginning at 5:00pm at Hard Times Café in Springfield Plaza. Both members and non-members are invited. This event, which runs until 7:00pm, is free for members of both chambers as well as first time visitors and no rsvp is required.

The demographic restructuring of the past 20 years has changed the population dynamics of our county, our state and our country. “We value diversity and strive for inclusiveness because we believe that by working together we are forging a common destiny for ourselves and for our country,” said Jorge Ribas, Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Chamber president & CEO.

Leadership from both chambers urge you to join them at Hard Times Cafe on October 20.
