Washington Redskin, Lorenzo Alexander to Host 3rd Annual Charity Bike Ride

Washington Redskin, Lorenzo Alexander will hold his third annual charity bike event, Ride to Provide, on Saturday, April 21. Alexander, along with Kedric Golston, Anthony Armstrong, Rocky McIntosh, and other Redskin teammates will be joining healing military heroes, as well as hundreds of children and adults on the W&OD Trail for a 10, 20, 35 or 53 mile fun and scenic bike ride that begins and ends at Reston Town Center, Virginia.

After the bike ride, there will be music, raffle drawings and food and drinks provided by Manhattan Pizzeria, Chipotle, Chili's, Giant Food, Whole Foods, Rita's Italian Ice, Muscle Milk and Honest Tea. Attendees can receive autographs and will have the chance to win great prizes.

All proceeds from the charity bike ride will benefit Lorenzo Alexander's ACES Foundation, which promotes a healthy mind and body through education and sports for area youth as well as healing military heroes from Ride to Recovery.

Ride to Recovery benefits mental and physical rehabilitation programs for our wounded veterans that feature cycling as the core activity.

The bike ride begins at 9 a.m., and tickets are still available. If you would like to purchase tickets, click here!
