Local High School Students to Testify about Climate Change

Do you want to hear what high school students have to say about Climate Change? You can today at a mock congressional hearing! As part the USA Science & Engineering Festival, students from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, VA will participate in a mock congressional hearing on geoengineering to address climate change, along with experts from NASA, Government Accountability Office (GAO), Bipartisan Policy Center, Climate Institute, and the Consortium for Science, Policy and Outcomes.

"Tinkering with the Temperature of Planet Earth" will take place today from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, which is located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW on the 5th floor. This event is free and open to the public.
