(ALEXANDRIA, Va.) November 1, 2010 - CiCi’s Pizza, home of the $4.99 endless pizza buffet, announces the opening its first location in Alexandria on November 1. Residents in the area should be on the lookout for hundreds of wallets that CiCi’s will drop with a coupon for a free buffet tucked inside.

The 4,400-square-foot store will open at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 1, in the Mt. Vernon Plaza at 7666 Richmond Hwy, with its endless buffet packed with 20 different pizzas, pasta, soup, salad and oven-baked desserts. The first 100 guests on opening day will receive a free pizza buffet with the purchase of an adult buffet each month for a year.  Additionally, a timer will go off throughout the day and reward customers at the register with one free buffet.
Franchisee Erich Hahn, who has more than a decade of experience in the restaurant industry, was drawn to CiCi’s family-friendly atmosphere. “As a father I know how difficult it can be to find a restaurant that caters to families. Once I visited CiCi’s, I knew I wanted to be a part of a place that allowed families in Alexandria to come together.”
Texas-based CiCi’s, one of the nation’s fastest growing pizza chains, makes each pizza by hand with fresh dough made from scratch throughout the day, sauce prepared in small batches with a special blend of herbs and seasonings, crisp vegetables and whole-milk mozzarella cheese. If guests don’t see their favorite pizza fresh and hot on the buffet, they can just ask and the manager will make it on the spot and bring it directly to the table.
In addition to the hundreds of pizza combinations that can be created by traditional toppings, CiCi’s also serves a variety of specialty pizzas, including its thin crust Italiano. The Italiano combines a thin gourmet crust with a flavorful spice blend, a unique mix of cheeses and seasoned sausage and pepperoni or crunchy vegetables. Guests will also find the famous Macaroni & Cheese, the Mexican Pizza Olé and Spinach Alfredo pizzas. Guests can also get CiCi’s value on the go – 15” one-topping carryout pizzas are available for just $5.99.

“At CiCi’s, we offer so many choices we eliminate the veto vote,” Hahn said. “And we do it in the kind of atmosphere that makes it easy for families to spend quality time together.”

Hours of operation for dine-in and carryout are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
