Children Charged With Setting Fires

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA) -- Five children have been charged with setting fires Wednesday, fire investigators said in a news release.

The boys, ages 10 to 14-years-old, set multiple fires in the Landmark area of Alexandria, investigators said.

The juveniles were charged with larceny,
burning or destroying property less than $200 and burning an occupied dwelling, relating to a residential fire on October 17, 2010, they said.

There was no significant damage to the residence and there were no injuries.
