Alexandria Library Holiday Closures | Events

All Alexandria Libraries will be closed for Labor Day weekend: Saturday, September 4th, Sunday, September 5th, and Monday, September 6th. While Alexandria Library was founded in 1794, it is certainly doing a great job of staying up with the times. Now with electronic media available 24/7, Alexandria Library is ALWAYS open!

You can check out eAudiobooks and eBooks through Alexandria Library’s website with OverDrive downloadables. The collections are growing and now the Labor Day weekend holiday closures don’t inhibit your ability to pick up a new read for the weekend if you forget to do so the week before. That’s not the only new feature of Alexandria Library. They are also now accepting credit cards so you can easily and safely pay library fines.
